ABOUT US

GMB Consulting is a division of GMB Finance specialising in debt and hedging advisory services for corporations, asset management firms and investment funds looking to perform complex financial debt transactions.

Over the past few years, the team has closed a series of deals in the energy and infrastructure industries, especially the photovoltaic sector. The company operates with complete autonomy and independence, using its well-established network of relations in the banking and financial industry.

We assist our clients with refinancing transactions, bank debt restructuring, renegotiations and hedging strategies.

TEAM

Gian Marco Bardelli

After graduating with honours in Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome he began his career at Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange). In 2008 he was one of the founders of Martingale Risk, before setting up GMB Finance with Tecla Panatta in 2014. Gian Marco has substantial experience working with local entities, investment funds, SMEs and corporations on restructuring transactions and providing hedging advisory services. He has acted as a court-appointed expert in a numerous of Italian legal cases.

Tecla Panatta

In 2011, Tecla graduated in Economics and Business Management from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome before starting her career at Johnson & Johnson. In 2014, she joined forces with Gian Marco Bardelli to set up GMB Finance and then, in 2015, she founded GMB Finance Marche, with Filippo Di Pietro and Federico La Rocca.

Matteo Gambini

After graduating in Economics & Finance, he specialised in banking and finance before beginning his career with GMB Finance in 2014. Over the years, he has developed broad-ranging quantitative skills and built up considerable experience, driven by a genuine passion and curiosity for financial topics.

Emanuela Bolla

After graduating in Law from Luiss Guido Carli university in Rome, she initially worked as a legal consultant focusing on financial services, before moving over to GMB Finance in 2014. Driven by passion and interest in everything she does in her day-to-day work, she has gained extensive knowledge of banking and financial matters.

Fabio Fieni

After graduating in Economics, Fabio gained further hands-on financial knowledge working at an asset management company. He moved to GMB Finance in 2014 and, as his knowledge of the specifics of the company grew, he became an expert in derivatives, debt restructuring and leasing.
